HELLO ARIZONA ???!!!

Yup! We've relocated to Arizona!!!. I know, I know...I just moved into the new studio in the 1800's victorian house. I had the opportunity to enjoy it for a short season and then it was time to move on. Honestly, I was a bit sad to leave it but the experience also taught me several lessons that I would have never learned otherwise. So it's all good.

Anyway, on to bigger and better things. So my awesome husband was blessed with a new opportunity which required us to relocate. We were on the road mid-May and stopped in New Mexico. I've always wanted to visit the art galleries, shops and restaurants of Santa Fe. What a gift this town was to us. We fell in love with it and will be back this summer!

Here she is! Our new place and we LOVE IT !!!!

My new studio is just waiting to get put together. Unpacking isn't fun but I'm excited to set things up AGAIN. I'm also looking forward to seeing what 'll be produced out of this new space and how the new environment will influence my art.

Just look at all this beauty right in my backyard! These were taken the week I arrived in late Spring. I've been spending a lot of time outside meditating on God's beauty, glory and grace and writing about it in my journal. I could spend hours outside just taking it all in. New beginnings can be challenging but I rest in knowing that I serve a Father that only has GOOD THINGS for me and that is EXCITING!

Here is a new piece that I completed yesterday. I call her "FAITH".

Her message is this.... "When in doubt, look to Jesus. The author and finisher of our faith".

It's based on Hebrews 12:2. I encourage you to read it for yourself.
